Sue Aguilera-Robles
Susan Aguilera-Robles joined the Buffett Institute in 2021 as associate director of program development. As associate director, Aguilera-Robles works closely with Lisa Roy, director of program development, and supervises the program administrator and community specialists for the Superintendents' Early Childhood Plan. Aguilera-Robles comes to the Institute with more than three decades in education, much of that in Omaha Public Schools, where she taught at both the elementary and secondary levels and also served as an administrator. She was principal of Spring Lake Magnet School for 15 years before leaving in 2019 to work in the Mayor's Office. The Omaha native graduated from Gross High School and received bachelor's degrees in Spanish and secondary education and a master's degree in education, all from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is certified in middle school and ESL (K-12) and in elementary education administration.
