Erin Duffy is managing editor at the Buffett Institute. In this role, she oversees all content strategy and writing that supports the Institute’s goals, including reporting on early childhood news and trends that affect students, families, educators and communities. Duffy joined the Institute in 2020 as the digital communications specialist. Before coming to the Institute, she was a newspaper reporter for more than a decade, including seven years at the Omaha World-Herald covering education issues, the 2019 floods and the coronavirus pandemic. Duffy is a New Jersey native and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The College of New Jersey.
