Start Early. Start well.

Nebraska Early Childhood Workforce Leadership Cadre

inaugural leadership cadre being formed

Of all the people working to help children have the best start in life, early childhood caregivers and educators are a unique group, with insights, knowledge, and skills that make an important difference in the world.

To learn from them and put their perspectives front and center in conversations about the future of Nebraska’s early childhood workforce, the Buffett Early Childhood Institute decided to form the Nebraska Early Childhood Workforce Leadership Cadre.

Applications for the cadre are now closed, and the Buffett Institute is reviewing applications. Twenty-five early childhood professionals from across Nebraska will be selected to participate for a period of three years. During that time, cadre members will build their individual and collective capacity as thought leaders and early childhood workforce leaders. Together, we will nurture and refine your ideas for elevating Nebraska’s early childhood workforce and implement small pilot projects in the communities where you live. Our belief is that your ideas have the potential to lead to big change.

Cadre applicants will be notified soon.
