Vera Valtier joined the Buffett Institute in 2020 as an office associate for Workforce Planning and Development. She has more than 25 years of administrative assistant experience, working in both the corporate and nonprofit industries. In addition, Valtier has experience as a paraprofessional for Omaha Public Schools and was a community intervention specialist for Release, a membership coordinator at the Salvation Army Kroc Center, and served as Multicultural Club sponsor for Central Community College. Valtier's volunteer work includes Embrace the Nations, Habitat for Humanity, Teen Reach Adventure Camp, and service on the board for Women on a Mission for Change. She earned a bachelor's degree in behavioral science from Bellevue University.
