Venessa Bryant, database specialist

Venessa Bryant joined the Buffett Institute in 2019 as database specialist. Her work is focused on providing database development and support for the Superintendents’ Early Childhood Plan. Bryant has more than 20 years’ experience managing databases and is especially knowledgeable about the ChildPlus software system that is used in data collection for the Superintendents’ Plan evaluation. She came to the Institute from the Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative, where she was data systems manager. Prior to that, she was operations manager at Educare of Omaha. She also worked in Omaha Public Schools for three years, two of them as an intake specialist in early childhood special education. Bryant earned her bachelor’s degree in public administration with a minor in education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
