Melissa Boyer joined the Buffett Institute in 2018 as an office associate, serving as the primary support person for the research and evaluation team. In 2020, she became project manager for the Institute's Preschool Development Grant, working with the performance evaluation and transitions committee activities. Boyer earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her previous experience includes student programs specialist and administrative support associate in the college of engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
