Marie Geist, program evaluation coordinator

Marie Geist joined the Buffett Institute in 2019 as program evaluation coordinator. Her work focuses on supporting the many different components of the Superintendents’ Early Childhood Plan evaluation, working closely with the schools, the Munroe-Meyer Institute, the University of Nebraska ΜΆ Lincoln, and the Institute’s program development and research and evaluation teams. Geist has more than six years’ experience developing and managing projects. She came to the Institute from Creighton University, where she was assistant director of student conduct and also worked on Title IX issues. She earned her bachelor of arts in psychology, with minors in education, English, and child, youth and family studies from UNL. She earned a master of science in education, with an emphasis in higher education, from the University of Kansas.
