Keeley Bibins joined the Buffett Institute in 2018 as an educational facilitator. She works with Mount View and Liberty Elementaries in Omaha Public Schools. Bibins provides on-site support to elementary school leaders and teachers, enhancing teaching and learning in preschool ̶ third grade classrooms. She also supports teachers through professional development workshops and coaching as part of the Superintendents’ Plan. Her professional experience has focused on Omaha Public Schools. Most recently, she has served as a PreKindergarten teacher at Conestoga Magnet School, which partners with the Learning Community Center of North Omaha. Through her work in this partnership initiative, she has complemented her classroom instructional role at Conestoga with the facilitation of parent-child-teacher learning experiences at the Learning Community Center of North Omaha. Bibins’s leadership in promoting a strengths-based, culturally responsive approach to understanding and working with children and families has played an important part of her interaction with colleagues. She also brings knowledge of trauma-informed practices. Bibins earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Peru State University, with certification in elementary education and early childhood.
