Kate Sutton

Kate Sutton is a senior research specialist at the Buffett Institute. She joined the Institute in 2019 as a research specialist with a special focus on qualitative methods. Before joining the Institute, she spent five years at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, in the Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention, where she managed special projects. Her work primarily focused on measuring the impact and reach of SNAP-Ed services and obesity prevention programs and improving intervention efficiency through targeted evaluation projects. Sutton received a bachelor of science in biology from the University of Nebraska ΜΆ Lincoln and a master of public health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
