JD Sorys joined the Buffett Institute in April 2023 as CRM marketing manager. In this role, he is responsible for the management of the Institute’s customer relationship management (CRM) system and the execution of email marketing campaigns. Sorys came to the Institute from Lee Enterprises, where he worked with their marketing agency, Amplified Digital, and with clients across Nebraska and Iowa. His background includes marketing strategy, campaign optimization, and experience with other nonprofit organizations across the state. Born and raised in Nebraska, Sorys earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is working on an MBA at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
