Cecely Schieffer is an accountant at the Buffett Institute. In her role, she is responsible for providing administrative and accounting recordkeeping, monitoring and maintaining documentation for multiple financial and administrative accounts and preparing financial/accounting reports. Prior to that, she served as outreach coordinator, supporting the Institute's communications efforts and events. Schieffer, who joined the Institute in 2018 as an office associate, earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Prior to joining the Institute, she worked as a park ranger for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Gavins Point Dam in Yankton, South Dakota.
