Second working meeting of 2017 for the Nebraska Early Childhood Workforce Commission, a group of 39 public- and private-sector leaders brought together by the Buffett Institute to develop a statewide plan to ensure a skilled, informed, and diverse workforce is available to all children. The commission, co-chaired by Samuel J. Meisels, founding executive director of the Buffett Institute, and Marjorie J. Kostelnik, dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, will meet quarterly over a three-year period (2017-19).
