Join child psychologist Jill Locke for a virtual presentation exploring meaningful social outcomes for autistic youth in school. Participants will learn how to identify engagement states of autistic youth on the playground and gain insights into Remaking Recess, an evidence-based social engagement intervention for autistic youth. This event is designed for faculty and students interested in child psychology and autism, public school educators, special education professionals, parents and other advocates for autistic children.
Sponsored by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Educational Psychology and the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools, the virtual presentation is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
