This is the second of three evening events in the 2023-24  Professional Development for All (PD for All) series, which has the theme of  "Nurturing Positive Adult-Child Interactions When Behaviors Challenge Us." Participants will acquire strategies for assessing age-appropriate child development and offering appropriate assistance throughout the developmental process, while also recognizing external factors that may impact children's behavior. Participants will also develop an understanding of the crucial role educators play in fostering a positive and safe learning environment.

The April 2 event will be held at the Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative, 3200 N. 30th St., Suite 200, Omaha, NE.

Each event will be structured in a town hall-style gathering. Participants will have an opportunity to submit questions; some of these will be answered by the speaker. All three events will be eligible for 90 minutes of training for licensed child care providers, for a total of 4.5 clock hours. Buffett Institute staff will distribute certificates at the end of each event. Participants must register for each event to be eligible to receive credit.
