The second institute in the 2018-19 Professional Development for All series, themed "Harnessing the Power of Language and Communication to Build Children's Literacy Success." Keynote speaker will be Sharon Ritchie, principal investigator of the FirstSchool Initiative and senior research scientist, Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The institute will be presented in English, with Spanish-language support as needed.
