"Promoting Well-Being for Children and Families" is the theme of the event, which runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The conference is intended for child care providers, PreK through third grade teachers, early intervention practitioners, Head Start/Early Head Start programs, Sixpence programs, family members, and others interested in early care and education.
