This interactive professional learning experience supports preschool professionals in recognizing and elevating everyday mathematical learning opportunities within classroom routines, play, and interactions. Participants will explore how math is embedded across the day and learn practical strategies for making children’s mathematical thinking visible and meaningful.
The session connects classroom practice to the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and guided play, helping educators intentionally support children’s exploration, problem-solving, and reasoning in developmentally appropriate ways.
