Designed as a follow-up to Making Math Visible or as a standalone offering, this workshop deepens educators’ understanding of how young children experience mathematical learning. Participants will examine math instruction through the lens of the Six Essential Child Experiences, focusing on how these experiences support children’s curiosity, inquiry, and sense-making.
Educators will reflect on their current practices and identify strategies for creating learning environments that foster engagement, exploration, and confidence in mathematics, laying a strong foundation for children’s ongoing learning and development.
