Kayla Parr is an early childhood program administrator at the Buffett Institute, where she supports the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of early childhood initiatives grounded in the School as Hub model. She brings more than 10 years of experience across early childhood and early elementary systems, with expertise in instructional coaching, systems coordination, and strengthening early learning from birth through Grade 3.
Before joining the Institute, Kayla served as an early childhood special education coordinator and multi-tieredsystems of support (MTSS) facilitator at Educational Service Unit #3, where she supported school districts and early childhood programs across the region. In this role, she worked closely with district leaders and early childhood teams to strengthen instructional practices, support inclusive early learning environments, and guide continuous improvement efforts across early learning programs.
Kayla holds a Master of Science in Education in educational leadership from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Science in education from Peru State College. She also holds an administrative certificate and is certified in birth–Grade 3 early childhood inclusive education.
