Sarah Moulton plays a vital role in the Institute’s sustainability by managing the proposal development process, ensuring that grant and funding submissions align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.

Senior Manager for Strategy

Sarah Moulton is the senior manager for strategy at the Buffett Early Childhood Institute. In this role, she leads the Institute's strategic planning and supports its implementation, helping maintain clarity about strategic direction and keeping Institute decisions and work connected to it. Prior to joining the Institute in 2023, she worked as an independent technical writing consultant for more than 20 years, supporting interdisciplinary academic teams on a variety of projects, including grant proposals, strategic plans, accreditation documents, policy manuals, and technical reports.

Her consulting clients included the Buffett Institute, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Creighton University, and several other universities across the country. An Omaha native, she earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a master's degree in English from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
