Kate Sutton
Senior Research Specialist
Kate Sutton is a senior research specialist at the Buffett Institute. She joined the Institute in 2019 as a research specialist. Her work focuses on the design and analysis of research projects at the Institute, with a particular emphasis on qualitative methods.
Prior to joining the Institute, she spent five years at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health in the Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention, where she worked on research and evaluation efforts, including the evaluation of nutrition and obesity prevention programs. Sutton received a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Master of Public Health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
