Beth Norris

Beth Norris is the senior manager for finance at the Buffett Institute, where she leads the finance team, works with project leads to manage the financial aspects of their work, and helps advance key financial initiatives and goals across the Institute.

Before joining the Institute in 2026, Norris held roles in financial and grant management across higher education, serving as deputy director of budget and finance at the National Strategic Research Institute and administrator in the division of infectious diseases at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and the department of OB/GYN at Creighton University. She has experience managing federal, state, and private awards, as well as Department of Defense funding.

Norris holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from UNMC and a master’s degree in health services administration from Creighton University.
