Ashley True is a program specialist at the Buffett Institute. She joined the Buffett Institute in 2021 as an educational facilitator. She worked as an early childhood education coach for six years and as a PreK teacher for three years, both at Omaha Public Schools.  She has an endorsement as a reading specialist.  Her expertise in in developmentally appropriate practice (DAP), early literacy, social-emotional development, classroom management, and assessment/data analysis. True will be working at Liberty Elementary School in OPS. She earned a Master of Education in literacy from Concordia University and a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Missouri State University.
