Explore how the Project Approach transforms early childhood classrooms into spaces of meaningful, child-driven investigation.
In this interactive workshop, participants will examine the three phases of the Project Approach and learn how to embed authentic inquiry, observational drawing, documentation, surveys, fieldwork, and culminating celebrations into existing preschool schedules and routines.
Through hands-on activities, collaborative planning, and connections to Creative Curriculum studies, teaching teams will develop practical strategies for selecting engaging topics, supporting investigable questions, and making children’s learning visible. Participants will leave with a project planning outline, implementation ideas, and concrete next steps for launching or strengthening project-based investigations in their own classrooms.
