Kym Caddell

Kymberly Caddell joined the Buffett Institute in 2020 as a research specialist working with the Preschool Development Grant (PDG) Performance Evaluation and Needs Assessment projects. In her role, she participates in research and evaluation efforts related to alignment and enhancement of early childhood systems, working with the Institute’s research and evaluation and professional learning teams. Caddell, who is fluent in Spanish, has worked as a social worker in Omaha Public Schools, using her certifications in Behavior Coach for Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behavior (MTSS-B), Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma in Schools (CBITS), and motivational interviewing. She earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner. Caddell is pursuing her Ph.D. in educational psychology-development and learning sciences with certificates in mixed methods and educational neuroscience from the University of Nebraska ̶ Lincoln.
