Duane Retzlaff joined the Buffett Early Childhood Institute in 2015 as a communications associate. His responsibilities include daily management of the Institute’s website and social media channels. He also develops content and serves as the Institute’s primary editor. The Lincoln native previously worked as an editor at the Omaha World-Herald, and earlier was a reporter at the Lawrence (Kansas) Journal-World and an editor at the Hutchinson (Kansas) News. Retzlaff earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska ̶ Lincoln.
