The Buffett Institute is partnering with the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties to implement the Superintendents' Early Childhood Plan. Community-based child care, home child care, preschool providers, and early childhood educators are invited to a free dinner and conversation about upcoming opportunities for professional learning and support in the metro area. Buffett Institute staff will share what is planned for the coming year, and will talk specifically about the "Professional Development for All" institutes. The institutes—offered through the Superintendents' Plan and made possible by the Learning Community—provide the opportunity to share knowledge about early childhood development and education and also to learn from one another. Buffett Institute staff look forward to meeting child care providers and preschool teachers and get their feedback about the institutes.
