Darcy Heath

Darcy Heath joined the Buffett Early Childhood Institute in 2015 as an educational facilitator. She works with Douglas County West Elementary and, in the Millard school district, Sandoz Elementary. Heath provides on-site support to elementary school leaders and teachers, enhancing teaching and learning in preschool – third grade classrooms. She also supports teachers through professional development workshops and coaching as part of the Superintendents’ Plan. The Idaho native previously served as a second-grade teacher at Hickory Hill Elementary in the Papillion La Vista school district. She also taught first grade in Casa Grande, Ariz., and was an adjunct professor at Northern Arizona State University. Heath earned a master’s degree in early childhood education and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, both from Northern Arizona University.
