Cama Charlet

Cama Charlet joined the Buffett Early Childhood Institute in 2015 as an educational facilitator. She works with Mount View Elementary in the Omaha Public Schools and with Meadows, Mockingbird and Karen Western Elementary Schools in the Ralston school district. Charlet provides on-site support to elementary school leaders and teachers, enhancing teaching and learning in preschool – third grade classrooms. She also supports teachers through professional development workshops and coaching as part of the Superintendents’ Plan. Charlet taught elementary schoolchildren for 11 years before coming to the Buffett Institute. The Southern California native graduated from the University of Nebraska ̶ Lincoln in 2003 with a bachelor of science in education and a teaching endorsement in elementary education. She earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Doane College in 2011. She taught in Omaha Public Schools, in Illinois, and most recently at Sandoz Elementary School in the Millard school district.
