Dr. David Dzewaltowski will be welcomed as the inaugural recipient of the Endowed Community Chair for Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity in Early Childhood at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Buffett Institute. The event at UNMC will include brief remarks by Hank Bounds, University of Nebraska president; Jeffrey Gold, UNMC chancellor; Samuel J. Meisels, founding executive director of the Buffett Institute; Ali S. Khan, dean of the College of Public Health at UNMC; and Dzewaltowski.
