The second in a series of four Professional Development for All events in 2016-17 for those who work with young children in the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties. Offered as part of the Superintendents' Plan. Participants will explore ways to promote learning experiences for children, birth through Grade 3, that enable rich oral language development and serve to promote active learning. This includes strategies to nurture young children's bilingualism in the center, school, and home. Selected sessions will be presented in Spanish as well as English. Participants have the choice of attending the Jan. 19 or Jan. 21 session.
