Celebrating Young Children is an event to recognize the positive impact of early childhood educators in the lives of young children in the Omaha metropolitan area. Participants are given the opportunity to connect with other educators serving children birth to age 8 and to learn about empowering and engaging practices. Morning sessions include topics such as infant/toddler caregiving, STEM, literacy, coaching and behavior support. Hands-on, interactive teacher play centers will be available. Keynote speaker is Joan Almon, founding director of the Alliance for Childhood.
